How often to upload vector patterns for sale on microstock websites? In this video, I talk about my recommendations on how often to upload your vector designs and how many repeat patterns to upload every time based on 13+ years of selling my vector repeat patterns and vector illustrations on microstock websites.

My viewer Irene asked me: "How often should I upload vector patterns for sale on microstock websites: every day, every week? And is it better to upload many patterns at the same time?"
1) As many as you can while keeping good quality. This is not a sprint, this is a marathon.
2) If you can keep up good quality, then the best sales growth I have had was when I was uploading 2-3 new vector patterns each day.
3) Sometimes, I couldn't upload each day because life got in the way, so I would batch create new patterns in 2-3 hours and make it true to have at least 10 new and different enough patterns each week. Then I would submit on a Tuesday or Wednesday each week. This method also worked well for me.
Please keep in mind, that if you upload patterns that are too similar in one batch, many can get rejected. To sum up: create new patterns every day and stay as consistent as possible. Upload at least once per week closer to the start of the week.
The bonus for you: creating every day or a few times per week consistently will make you a better designer especially if you challenge yourself to get better and better every week by setting new goals to try different topics and styles.
