Only 2 RAM slots but more M.2? Gigabyte is going all out
Gigabyte's new motherboard concept for Z890 and X870 features fewer RAM slots and a modified layout to create space for additional M.2 connections. The major advantage is clear: more SSD options without cluttering the bottom of the board with M.2 drives and forcing the graphics card to run at x8 through lane sharing.
