Saunter Together Sequence Dance to Music
Shannah and Phil dance the popular Saunter Together sequence dance. http://www.sequencedanceuk.co.uk This 1975 dance appears on nearly every sequence dance programme and is relatively easy to learn. The only tricky bit seems to the end where lady is turned to shadow hold and then turns back in after tapping the foot - a foot change plus a turn under the arm!
BARS 1-4 - WALKS - ZIG ZAG - OUTSIDE CHECKS - RETURN TO CLOSED POSITION
BARS 5-8 - WALKS - ZIG ZAG - OUTSIDE CHECKS - ADOPT PROM POSITION
BARS 9-12 - WALKS - LEFT WHISK - RIGHT WHISK - TWIST TURN
BARS 13-16 - CHASSE x 2 - LADY TURNS TO SHADOW - STEP, POINT - LADY RETURNS TO CLOSED POSITION
Most of the dance is performed in close ballroom hold, only moving to double hand hold for the whisks onwards.
