About
This ASI plugin doubles the amount of packfiles (aka RPFs) the game can handle.
Please note that this plugin will only 'fix' ERR_FIL_PACK_1, nothing else. Get a better gameconfig and install the Heap Limit Adjuster if you still experience crashes.
Also, please make sure to combine your DLC packs. Not doing so is the most common reason for ERR_FIL_PACK_1.

Initial release
A Packfile Limiter is a mod, most commonly for Grand Theft Auto V, that increases the number of "packfiles" (RPFs) the game can handle. This is a necessary tool for players who want to install vehicle and other mods, as it prevents crashes like ERR_FIL_PACK_1 that occur when too many custom files are added to the game. To use it, you typically install it alongside an ASI loader and sometimes a compatible gameconfig and heap adjuster.
What it does
Increases packfile limit: The mod modifies the game's limitations to allow it to load more RPF files than it normally could.
Prevents crashes: By increasing the limit, it resolves a common cause of crashes, particularly the ERR_FIL_PACK_1 error.
Enables more mods: It allows players to install a greater number of vehicle and other mods without the game becoming unstable.
How to use it
Get the mod: Download the "Packfile Limit Adjuster" from a reputable source.
Install an ASI loader: Make sure you have an ASI loader installed in your game's main directory, as the mod is a .asi file.
Place the files: Drop the PackfileLimitAdjuster.asi and PackfileLimitAdjuster.ini files into the main directory of the game.
Install a gameconfig: It is crucial to also install a compatible gameconfig file for your game version to work correctly with the mod.
Combine DLC packs: As an optional but recommended step, combine your DLC packs, as not doing so is another common reason for ERR_FIL_PACK_1
