I thought for a long time and decided to go to my favorite puddles again. I think the ice has already formed there and you can catch a lot of pike and roach. But the frost ruined the access road. The puddles along the way are very deep, if last time we just broke up the slush, this time the ice is 5 cm. And it is very easy to get trapped or damage the car. We decided not to risk it and returned again to the lake where we opened the season. We have excellent live bait from Igor Novoselov and even Oparysh for catching live bait. We drove in by an easy way, but the descent turned out to be terrible. Okay, this is all poetry. There were already plenty of people on the ice, many were spending the night. They stoked the stoves and set up tip-ups. Although it was about 6 am outside. We decided to go to the shallow part of the lake, this is where the pike lives in the summer. In complete darkness, we set up tip-ups and greeted the dawn. We fed a couple of holes and began to wait. The first bites began at dawn. Live bait and a large roach did not let us get bored. The tip-ups are silent. It is not even usual for this lake. The neighbors surround us with dozens and hundreds of tip-ups. The pike definitely has no chance to survive. But nothing happens for several hours. There is already plenty of live bait, but I understand that it will not be useful. The first bite and the first pike on the ice. About 1 kg. Sergey Voronenko is fishing from the ice with me for the first time. And, oddly enough, everything works out. He even caught a mixture of bream and roach. And he had a large perch. I change his maggots, carry jigs and clear the holes from ice. He serves as a bite indicator. I even fished with his rod a couple of times, and of course I removed the fish so that he would not get his hands dirty. He completely took over my participation in fishing with tip-ups. There were 5 hooks and 4 fish on the ice. Oddly enough, there were no losses from the special hooks for live bait. Although I wanted to replace them with tees on my last fishing trip. But I'll hold that thought for now. We met guests from Novokuznetsk and Dmitry Krivtsov on the ice. We chatted, Dimka shared his new jigs. We also fished next to him. His skills are off the charts. We decided to go home at about 4:00 PM, the pike still hadn't eaten from anyone. Only the guys went to Seryoga and asked how he managed to catch so much. And he gave recommendations, he loves it. I even offered to hold a Seminar for him🤣 The path up the mountain was terrible, the sled was dragged down and it was dangerous. Once I fell off a steep mountain, I thought they wouldn't collect me. It's good that I stopped. Seryoga came to the rescue on his butt, you'll see everything in the video. So thank you all. We are safe and sound, only everything hurts.
