When building DIY acoustic sound panels for your home music studio, you have to understand density vs. depth. If you have a small studio and you can only use acoustic treatment that's only 1-2 inches thick (2.5-5 cm) then you may want to consider using this special type of high density rigid rockwool. It's especially useful in thin ceiling clouds.
