Various roles within the coupledom
In long term partnerships and marriages we fill and fulfill various roles. It is important to verbally and physically (through different forms of touch) remind one another of those roles, appreciate them, celebrate them and invite them to stay present in our coupledom. For example, if all of our touch becomes a familiar, pal-to-pal touch then having romantic moments with one another become anomalies and awkward!
