Born and bred in Argentina, Buenos Aires. He started out at a young age throwing parties with the help of 2 close friends over a period of 5 years, which is when he discovered his passion for music and his ability to make a dance floor come alive. He has constantly be in touch with the music industry and after many years, decided in January 2008 to put his head phones back on, turn up the music and to continue doing what his soul was always destined to do.
Possessing the skill and talent to seamlessly maneuver through the realms of deep house, techno and tech house, Daniel Blutmann (aka Daniel Sun, DJ/Producer), has experimented transversely throughout the spectrum of electronic music. He is famous for his groovy and energetic sound present in all of his mainstream or underground sets. Daniel Sun's known insight, passion & understanding of electronic music immediately opened up doors to him in the South African club scene. Earning him residencies in the best clubs and playing at the hottest events throughout South Africa such as H2O main floor (2009/10/11), GOLDFISH, COCOON Production supporting Dinky, The Fez, Fu-cha, Nicci Beach.
Having performed to large audiences of die-hard music lovers, Daniel Sun has proved beyond a doubt that he has what it takes to get people moving and pulsating on the dance floor anywhere in the world. During the summer of 2009 in Ibiza he was given the opportunity to play for the whole season at Beach Palace Club and over the airwaves with legendary producer Satoshi Tomiie's on one of Ibiza's most popular radio stations, IBIZA GLOBAL RADIO as well as being invited to perform on EUROPAFM.
This man is influenced by the likes of Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Richie Hawtin, Steve Lawler, Stimming, Ricardo Villalobos , Jeff Millis and the likes off but part of his secret recipe is how he incorporates into his sets, tracks that are not mainstream, but are just shouting out to be heard.
May 2012, marked an important change in Daniel Sun's career where he decided to turn his ear to finding & producing his very own sounds, focused now in his studio, where he spends most of his time. What shows mostly in his ambition and dedication in this regard, is the fact that he is self-taught.
