How to Level 50-60 in WOW Shadowlands
1. If you’re a new (first time) player and you’ve never leveled a character to level 60, for your first character 50-60 you will be forced down the leveling route of the Shadowlands Campaign, which unfortunately is not the fastest leveling route. This is Blizzard making sure you are caught up on all relevant lore in WOW.
2. WOW Players who’ve leveled through to 60 once previously will be able to access and use “skips”,”Threads of Fate” and even “Flying” if they’ve done the appropriate achievement.
3. Erosium’s 50-60 Leveling route; The Maw, Torghast, Bastion, Ardenweald, Revendreth.
4. Addons: Silverdragon (Scan Rares & Treasures) & Routes (Import/Export) if you want to import my Routes. Scrap – Sells junk fast.
5. The Maw is your first taste of Shadowlands, the area is dark, dreary and frankly depressing. But that’s the point! You first quest to begin the Maw starts in Stormwind or Ogrimmar when you ding level 50.
As this is not your first time playing, you will have the ability to “Skip” the Maw when you speak to the quest giver. I URGE you not to skip this.
The experience from the Maw is absolutely brilliant, fast and saves you heaps of time later on in the leveling route. Complete the Maw Campaign until you reach Oribos. When you have completed the Maw and are in Oribos, select the Threads of Fate by typing “FATE” into the box it provides.
Complete “To Do List” below before the next step.
6. TO DO LIST: Select a Covenant, Purchase: “Broker’s Mark of Distinction” from the Oribos Flightmaster vendor if you can. When you have selected a covenant, use this and it will reward you with 60 Renown. Learn Shadowlands Mining. Learn Shadowlands Engineering: (Purchase a Shadowlands Wormhole from Auction House).
7. Enchant any Heirlooms. (No Heirlooms? = skip enchants): Chest: +30 Stats. Weapon: Celestial Guidance/ Sinful Revelation Cloak: Stamina + Speed. Rings: Crit/Haste/Mastery.
8. Torghast Tower of the Damned - Torghast is Blizzard’s first attempt at a “Roguelike Gameplay” system. It is effectively a Solo or Group Dungeon where you collect random powers and fight your way through the floors defeating powerful enemies. With the “To Do List” complete, go speak to Tal Inara who is in Orbibos. When you reach Tal Inara and accept his quest and select your next area of leveling. Select: Torghast Tower of the Damned. Change your Hearthstone to Oribos and then Go through the portal in the Centre of Oribos and jump into the “Light” emitting from the centre. This will teleport you to Torghast. Run further into Torghast and accept the quest. Then click which Torghast wing you want to complete and complete it, hand quest in and exit back through to Oribos.
9. Use your Shadowlands Wormhole and teleport to Bastion.
Starting from the bottom of the map, complete all quests on the map, even when you’ve completed “Aiding the Kyrian” complete the rest of the quests on the map. Following my route will allow you to do it in the most efficient way possible. Make sure you kill any rare elites, collect any feasible treasures and complete any bonus objectives. Bastion absolutely completed? (No need to do dungeon quest) – Hand in “Aiding the Kyrian” and then Hearthstone to Oribos.
10. Ardenweald - Upon returning to Oribos, hand your quest in to Tal’inara. Then select the next zone to level in: Ardenweald. Use Shadowlands Wormhole to Teleport to Ardenweald. Make sure you gather all ore along the way, complete all bonus objectives, kill all rares you can, collect all treasures and complete all quests on the map.Once you have completed: “Aiding the Nightfae” continue to quest in Ardenweald until there are no quests left on the map (ignore the dungeon quest). All done? Hearthstone to Oribos.
11. Revendreth - Upon returning to Oribos, hand in your quest to Tal’inara. Then select your next zone to complete: “Revendreth“. Use your Shadowlands Wormhole and teleport to Revendreth. Revendreth has a lot of Ore nodes in and can net you a pretty penny in gold if you farm them. Each node also offers you a hefty chunk of experience so it’s a win win situation to collect all you see. Complete quests in the route provided, there are an absolute massive amount of quests in Revendreth and this should ding you to level 60. Complete Revendreth, hand in “Aiding the Venthyr” and return to Oribos to collect your rewards.
