A magical portal to the land of dinosaurs throws Spike, a dinosaur, into our world, a trap set by greedy filmmakers. They plan to use Spike for their own purposes, seeking fame and fortune. Fortunately, young Ethan and Madison discover this. The siblings must return Spike home and protect the secret portal from the villains.
