Levin Mundinger shooting RAW Video with the Leica SL2-S and Atomos Ninja V.
Firmware version 3.0 for the Leica Sl2-S enables the output of a Cinema 4K RAW video signal with up to 60 frames per second to an external recorder via HDMI This means that it is now possible to capture 12-bit RAW video files with recorders such as the Atomos Ninja V, Atomos Ninja V+ or Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR. The RAW files are perfectly clean and offer a maximum dynamic range, colour fidelity and detail rendition for a professional workflow.
Firmware version 3.0 for the SL2-S and version 4.0 for the Leica SL2 also offer some benefits in terms of ISO sensitivity settings, L-mount alliance lens functions and more.
