Capturing Ambient Sound; Media Production (Tutorial)
This video explains what Ambient Sound, or 'Ambience' is and how it is used in Moving Image Sound Design. The tutorial demonstrates different equipment options, accessories and setups to capture and record with, including mobile phones; as well as a selection of examples. With a few tips on Post-production too, this video is designed for Level 3 Creative Media Students, but I'm sure it will be useful to others learning about Sound Design too.
