Blend voice overs and music with side chaining!
A very important thing when it comes to voice overs; mixing them with music. But sometimes that can be challenging. The music is too loud and you can barely hear the voice over, or it's exactly the opposite; you are not able to hear the music.
In this video I will give you the solution to this problem; side chaining. When using this effect, it will be a lot easier to bring your project to another level while adjusting the music to the voice.
Side-chaining is a very often used technique in the music industry. The difference with music is that you now use the voice over for stirring instead of the drums. You adjust the music in a certain way to the voice. But you need to do this with something else than an output. It is also important to use a certain compressor. Curious which one? Watch the video!
