The Aqara cube is a flexible and innovative ZigBee based input device. It has a myriad of states taking advantage of many unique techniques such as Slides, Knocks, 90-degree flips, 180-degree flips, shakes, drops, rotations etc. It pairs with many smart home hubs, most importantly it easily and reliably connects to Home Assistant using the Zigbee protocol.
To gain the most out of this device it is best to use one of the many user templates that are available. These range from simple templates that control the basic 24 actions, through to complex templates that control 69 actions, all listed below for your use. I’d recommend use the 69 Action template and only use the action triggers you wish but have the capacity to utilise more if needed.
