How to Force RGB Mode instead YCbCr in Mac OS when using External Monitor
In This video, I try to explain how to Force RGB Mode instead YCbCr in your MAC OS X System.
As you may know this issue, if you have macbook, and use external monitor, connect it via mini display port, the MAC OS will still recognise your monitor as Television, not monitor. This problem cause the color looks inaccurate, and the font looks rough.
To fix this, i found the way from a thread in this forum:

So, I here just make a visualisation from what that forum already explain. Because some people still confuse on the terminal step, and how to put it on the library. This is very easy step actually.
The steps are:
1. Download the patch here: http://embdev.net/attachment/168316/p...
2. Make sure you turn off the macbook screen, and only use the external monitor.
3. Open terminal, find the patch that already downloaded and run it on the terminal by using ruby command. "ruby (your patch directory)"
4. After that, a new folder will be created in your home directory. This folder contain the override patch.
5. Copy/move the folder to your System Library "/System/Library/Displays/Overrides". It'll tell u to override, i suggest you to make a backup file first, then paste here.
6. After you paste the folder, Restart your computer.
7. Enjoy your Mac at RGB Mode. You can check whether it's already override or not by going to about this mac - system report -Graphic/Display
If it says television, you aren't success yet. But if it tells already forced to RGB Mode, then it's success.
Sorry if My english sounds bad, and if the step in the terminal section is very-very basic.
