This series of 7 videos walks you through some basic AutoCAD site modelling methodologies - interpolating contours, setting heights for corners of site where they occur in between contours, surfacing using 3d faces, using the measure command for setting out posts. It then goes on to import the model in to 3ds max and covers making basic materials and applying mapping co-ordinates, If you wish to work along with the videos you will need this .zip file of all the materials (includes the trees which makes the .zip file fairly large).
