How to overcome anger based on the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad
how to overcome anger based on the words of the Messenger of Allah.
It was narrated that once Wail Asani was sitting with Urwah bin Muhammad and other companions. Suddenly a man came and said something to Urwah that made him angry. He got up and returned to us in a state of ablution.
He then said, My father once told me from my grandfather that the Messenger of Allah said: Verily, anger comes from Satan and Satan is created from fire. And verily, what can extinguish fire is water. Therefore, if there is one of you who is angry, he should perform ablution.
In another narration from Abdullah bin Yazid from Anas from his father, he said that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever holds back his anger when he is able to release it, then one day Allah will call him in front of all people to allow him to choose the angel he wants.
