My buddy @breakerpressgames over at Breaker Press Games recently hired me to make an illustration for his DCC-compatible zine of elementally based spells. Specifically, he tasked me with drawing a grimdark wizard casting WATER BLAST.
I started off with a quick sketch in #procreate on my #ipadpro using my #applepencil. Once he approved the sketch (no changes!), I turned the lines blue and printed it out on bristol board. I wasn't satisfied with how it looked at 100%, so I increased the size and printed it out again.
Then I took my ink pots, pens, brushes and camera outside to knock out a badass illustration meant to span a full spread of his 'zine.
