Weclome back for Episode 2 in our Simple Inventory System Series. In the first episode of this series, I covered the basics of setting up a simple inventory system in Unreal Engine using Blueprints. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend checking it out, as this episode will build off of that foundation.
In this episode, I'll dive deeper into improving our inventory system, focusing on updating the UI to show item counts, using Maps to manage my inventory more effectively, and enabling players to consume items that impact their in-game stats.
Make sure to stay tuned for the next episode, where I'll enhance our inventory system even further by displaying item textures, types, and descriptions, as well as updating the HUD display for players' health, magic, and more as they update from consumed items.
