Abandoned Seaside Hotel - The Last of Us In Real Life
We explored an Abandoned Seaside Hotel. This is a famous and well renowned West Donegal Hotel that has laid abandoned for some years now. This was a large 30+ bedroom hotel with a leisure centre, lounge room, wine and tapas bar and gym. Over the years of its abandonment, this behemoth of a building has fallen victim to both nature and vandalism. The stunning views of the atlantic made this a popular destination to both national and international tourists. Recently, this site was purchased and is now awaiting a €15 million euro regeneration. Whilst it is now a shadow of its former self, it is also the foundation of something new. Inside this abandoned hotel was like walking into The Last of Us video game, where nature had reclaimed half of the building!
