Rest in peace to His Majesty, King Geedorah, the Metal-Faced Supervillain, Daniel Dumile. He passed away months ago, but the news wasn't widely shared until just several days back. A father, husband, teacher, and legendary underground MC with an unreal aura of mystery and power around him. Hip hop may never see another character quite as dope as him. He'll be missed.
This is a sad little tear-jerker improvisation based on MF DOOM's "Rapp Snitch Knishes." It was raining today in the Bay Area, so pardon the background noise.
If you haven't listened to his music, give it a shot. It's dense, strange, and quirky, and he spits in this extremely thick and gruff tone of voice befitting a comic-book supervillain. I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me, hard. Maybe the same'll happen for you.
