Mount Mailgar. Bolshoe Goloustnoe. Baikal.
Mount Mailgar, located just before Bolshoe Goloustnoye, is a sacred site. The climb is fairly easy, a two-hour roundtrip walk from car to car, plus another half hour for tea with a beautiful view. The view from the mountain is of the endless Lake Baikal and the village on one side, and the main road and the winding river on the other. It's a decent route, a light walk, I'd even say, lasting half a day. The trail is well-trodden, making it impossible to get lost. #Bolshoegoloustnoye #Baikal
