✅Undervolting of Intel Gen13/14 Processors on Asus Z790👍 boards! z790
The 13th/14th generation of processors turned out to be quite hot and demanding on the cooling system; it is almost impossible to use the top processors of the line with the K index at default settings because the power consumption easily exceeds 300w.
In this video, I decided to share with you the settings that I use for personal use 24/7, based on my personal use of i7-13700k and i9-14900k processors.
Undervolting is a reduction in the operating voltage of a chip, possible due to the fact that the manufacturer sets an average voltage for a large batch of chips at which all of them can operate. Chips vary in quality, the so-called “silicon lottery,” so each processor requires individual voltage selection.
