Time to use your imagination, kids! Gordon and Susan pretend to have tea with Snuffy, Deena wants to play house with Pearl, and an Anything Muppet girl imagines she's a doctor, movie director, or firefighter on yet another groovy episode of the best darn kids show ever, Sesame Street! First aired on December 4, 1980, in Season 12, it's Episode 1454, and I'm imagining all the thanks Jeremy Maine aka @Sesame Maniac is going to get for sharing another treasure.

STREET SCENES: No overall storyline, so here's the different street scenes instead. Gordon (Roscoe Orman) and Susan (Loretta Long) have a pretend tea party at Big Bird's (Caroll Spinney) nest and assume his "imaginary" friend, Snuffy, will be there too, so they address the empty seat as him and pretend to give him some tea. Big Bird has no idea who they're talking to. Otherwise, Gordon tries to grade papers outside Hooper's Store in peace, but Mr. Hooper (Will Lee) keeps interrupting him and Susan gets all dirty working on her car causing Oscar (Caroll Spinney) to see her in a new grimy light. She's beautiful! Also, Telly (Brian Muehl) gets between Susan and Gordon, Big Bird and Snuffy (Michael Earl) disagree over a story and want to stop being friends :-O Hope they patch it up.

NEW MUPPETS: An Anything Muppet girl (Kathryn Mullen) imagines she's a doctor, movie director or firefighter; Deena (Karen Prell) wants to play house with Pearl (Brian Muehl), who wants to sleep instead.

REPEAT MUPPETS: Anything Muppets (Frank Oz and Jerry Nelson) use a tape measure to see how far apart they are; Kermit (Jim Henson) and Tracy count to 10; Kermit's Lectures: Between two poles, actually mops held by Grover (Frank Oz) and Herry (Jerry Nelson); Tony (Jim Henson) laments, "I'm Between", as he's stuck between two large monsters (both Frank Oz); Oscar's "Bill of Gripes"; Grover learns what Kate wants to be when she grows up.

NEW ANIMATION: An opened egg is put back together.

REPEAT CARTOONS/ANIMATION: V for Van (live-action/animation; Paul Fierlinger); Speech Balloon (V for Violin); This is a big letter V; Typewriter Guy (V for Vacuum); Young MacDonald Went to Town; Blocks reveal a square, a triangle, and a circle; Millie and Molly have different perspectives as they go on a walk; Passengers on a crowded subway illustrate "between"; Pirates dig for treasure between two trees; Lost man in the desert asks a stranger for directions, builds a pretend city out of sand to show what it looks like, stranger is actually an alien; Pinball #10 (Jeff Hale); Kids draw a man (stick-figure) and a woman (Mona Lisa); The Zet Story (the ET family via a story of the zet, a quick-witted bird; 3 parts); Z For Zebra and Zoo; Z In Space.

REPEAT FILMS: "Touch, Hold, Feel" and "Somebody Come and Play" (both sung by Joe Raposo); "Paying Attention Song" (Charlie Tyson); Kids count 20 penguins going down a slide; Three dolphins jump together; Six kids go down a slide; Tomatoes grow in a field.

REPEAT CAST/GUEST SCENES: "The Alphabet Song" w/Lena Horne; Alphabet Dancers (letter V); Bob and Linda musically show the signs for "Hat, Coat, and Pants".

NOTE: I'm pretty sure that's legendary Canadian comedian and satirist (Royal Canadian Air Farce), Dave Broadfoot (1925-2016), as the emcee of the Zet Story (45:10). Corrections welcome.
