**To resign you retainer a job you must have a copy of "Modern Vocation" in your possession, which can be purchased from retainer vocates (in each of the city states)
0:42 teleport to Limsa Lominsa
1:16 Go to the retainer vocate
1:27 Speak with the retainer vocate
1:34 Select "Inquire about retainer jobs"
1:43 Select "Purchase a copy of Modern Vocation" (for 40 ventures)
**You exchange 40 ventures for the copy of Modern Vocation
**You may now summon a retainer and assign them a job, if they meet the necessary requirements
2:07 Summon your retainer with a warrior or mage class with Level 30+
2:14 Select "Assign retainer a job"
2:17 Select a job
**My retainer is an Archer, so I can only assign the job Bard to him
2:23 Assign job
