A Console Variable or CVar is a variable of a simple data type (for example, float, int32, FString) that has an engine-wide state. The user can read and write to the state. The CVar is identified by a unique name, and the in-game console will assist the user with auto-completion while typing into the console. These, along with console commands, allow you as a developer to have a lot more control over how the engine works.
