EdmontonPy May 2020: Debugging and OpenCV
This month, we go over one way to debug Python code (because print statements don't cut it!) and then introduce OpenCV in Python.
There comes a point in every Python developer's career when they realize print statements and log messages aren't helping them discover and fix their bugs. That's when learning a debugging tool, like pdb, can be quite handy. Aaron will take beginners from zero to "I will never use print statements again" with the built-in pdb module.
OpenCV is written in C/C++ and is a library used to build computer vision solutions. The library has a bunch of interfaces written in other major languages, and Abram will introduce us to the OpenCV interface written for Python developers!
