Aputure 300d ii Review - An LED video light with power!
Today we continue our discussion of lighting with the Aputure 300d ii. This light offers about twice the output of the Aputure 120d ii, but maintains many of the key features. The decision between buying the 300d ii over the 120d ii really comes down to the environments you will be filming in and the modifiers you want to use. Recently, Aputure released the 300x which is essentially a bi-color version of the 300d mark ii. We film almost exclusively with Daylight, so this is not a huge deal for us but definitely something to consider.
We use almost exclusively Aputure lights for our Youtube lighting setup. If you are going for a 3 point lighting video lighting setup, we highly recommend the Aputure 300d ii as the perfect key light.
