IT businessman and scientist Valery Pshenichny founded the company NovIT PRO, which designed civilian ships, military vessels, machinery and equipment. In 2011, the "Russian Elon Musk", as Pshenichny was called, took on a state defense contract to create a 3D model of the Varshavyanka submarine. Instead of one 3D model, for which there was a contract, NovIT PRO created as many as six, meeting the original budget. But a criminal case of fraud was opened, Pshenichny ended up in pretrial detention center No. 4 in St. Petersburg, and a month later he was found hanged in cell No. 62, with signs of torture, including torture with electricity and rape. The case of incitement to suicide has not progressed anywhere for 3 years, but recently in St. Petersburg they began to try Pshenichny himself posthumously.
