UbuntuDDE - Another Quality Remix!
UbuntuDDE is another remix that hopes to become an official Ubuntu flavour.
Unlike the original version of Deepin, the software store has been replaced by the standard Ubuntu store.
Hopefully this helps calm the fears of those who were worried about spyware.
UbuntuDDE also has the look and feel of an Ubuntu distro and is clearly attempting to become a flavour as soon as possible.
And I have no doubt that it will succeed. It's a polished, high-quality distro with a very intuitive interface and a well designed website.
My only niggle is the rather clumsy use of language on the official website, which clearly identifies its Chinese roots. Guys, you need to get a proof reader.
Other than that I was impressed. Give it a spin and see what you think.
