In Part I of this series, I explain how to create complex technical books with Adobe FrameMaker. I present three types of content organization: Conceptual, Logical, and Physical. I offer a practical book project folder structure to make book content easy to locate, followed by how to get started on a book from scratch by creating a sample chapter with a handful of paragraph styles you can use to generate a Table of Contents (TOC), List of Figures (LOF), and List of Tables (LOT).
