How to Export & Import Masters & Voucher from TallyPrime through XML (Part-3)
In this session we shall learn very interesting and useful feature of exporting masters and vouchers from one TallyPrime company to another TallyPrime company through XML feature.
This feature will be useful under the following used case scenarios
1. To copy the master from the existing company to newly created sister concern or group company.
2. Once the data is split for the financial year, later if any changes have been made due to audit and finalization of books of account. You can export the updated masters with change in closing balance to the next year company by exporting the closing balance as opening balance and import it.
3. Tally vouchers can also be exported and imported to another TallyPrime database company. This requirement could be due to consolidation of data between head office and branch. In such case you can export vouchers from branch company and import it into head office company for consolidated financial reports.
