Repotting a Schefflera. Indoor Plants.
I delayed repotting my Schefflera a bit; I should have done it in the fall. I bought a larger pot, as my Schefflera was already getting cramped in the old one.
Place drainage material in the bottom of the pot—expanded clay, crushed stones, or brick. However, don't plant the plant directly on the drainage elements; it's better to leave a good layer of soil between them. The roots will be constantly moist when in contact with the drainage elements, and we don't want them to rot. So, here's the repotting process: transfer the mature plant along with the root ball, cover it with soil, and press it down lightly.
