You are a stationary observer, witnessing the transformation of Paris’s architecture, streets, people, atmosphere, daily life, and defining historical moments as the centuries pass. This video is a continuous visual journey through more than 2,200 years of the city’s history and evolution.
This project is curated by humans and powered by AI. I used multiple AI tools alongside editing software and post-production to shape each sequence into a polished, cinematic experience while preserving the same perspective throughout the entire video. The sound and music have been carefully designed not only to reflect each time period, but also to create a flowing sense of story, rhythm, and progression, giving the video a continuous feeling of evolution through centuries of change. For the best experience, watch with the volume on.
Please note: This is an artistic interpretation of how Paris may have changed over time. I have done my best to make it as historically accurate as possible, but some mistakes and inaccuracies are inevitable at this scale.

How it’s made:
I chose the viewpoint of a busy intersection inspired by the Gros-Caillou / 7th arrondissement area, using it as the setting to imagine how this part of the city may have changed across different eras.
✔ Researched the most visually significant moments in Paris’s history (see “Sources & Research” below)
✔ Designed the storyboard, historical progression, and pacing of the location through time
✔ Generated and refined the street model with AI tools, always from the exact same perspective
✔ Populated each scene with people, animals, and traffic using AI
✔ Animated each frame, then edited, composited, and refined details in post-production
✔ Added sound design and music to match the mood of each era
