It is quite safe to say that Bluecat PartchWork is the standard in third party #VST hosting for #ProTools but what some people don't know is that it also includes a good number of built-in high quality effects like the ones just included in v.2.2...
REVERB is a simple digital reverb capable of producing surprisingly
natural ambients, for example as a complement to guitar amp sims.
WAH follows the philosophy of DESTRUCTOR and AXIOM and
allows you to look into the process that occurs in the background.
#HARMONIZER in its initial position reduces the volume of the
DRY signal in half to avoid overloading when the other two
voices are added... As in this case we simply aim for a discrete effect we simply raised the LEVEL of the DRY section to 100% while the two VOICES are off. Now the plugin is completely transparent.
If we now turn on VOICE 1 and select an interval, we may not get a very tonal effect. Move KEY to the key you are playing, in this case A major. Now all the notes that we play are going to be doubled in the value selected with SHIFT (in this case 3rds). The plugin will be responsible for selecting the major and minor intervals conveniently so that it is always in tune. Use the PAN controls to create stereo pitching effects. Now we can select a different interval with VOICE 2 (in this case 5ths). We can use the LEVEL controls of the voices to make the effect more or less obvious. Always keep your eyes on the OUTPUT meter to avoid clipping. If necessary, lower the LEVEL of the DRY section instead of increasing the one of the VOICES.
