solution to error when installing windows 8/8.1 onto new SSD
this is a solution/fix to the the error that states, "we couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one. for more information, see the setup log files." I have looked and looked to put the best info together about this issue for windows 8/8.1, so that if you encounter this same error, that it could help you. Hope all goes well for you!
