“When you run out of an important ingredient who do you send to fetch it for you? If you're Mung Daal send your keen and adventurous apprentice Chowder to do the business.
This image spot centres around Chowder's quest to find 'fizzle spice' taking him to Mario, Pac-man and Donkey Kong style worlds and was made completely in-house by the graphics and audio department in Cartoon Network Hong Kong.
I conceived the idea of the spot and sourced the relevant soundbites to create the story. The graphics were done done by Kai who drew the backgrounds, animated the characters and put things together.”
