What does COVID-19 have to do with animals?
Coronavirus, aka COVID-19, is the latest in a long line of diseases that have spread across the world. While scientists scramble to create a vaccine, surprisingly little is being said about where many pandemics originally come from. In the case of coronavirus – and many other pandemics throughout history - the disease came from animals. So what do we need to do to stop any more outbreaks of zoonotic diseases?
