Ixion custom run: -75% resources, 3 meal cycle, -50% solar power. Prologue & Chapter 1.
I decided to buy Ixion since it got difficulty settings. The custom settings are what gives the replayability, and this run is a custom run with lots of difficulties added on top of the challenge settings.
Notable penalties are :
-75% resource deposit sizes
-50% solar panels power output
Meal frequency : 3 cycles
-50% cryopod workers ratio
8 repairs per cycle and 5 points per repair (around the same amount of repair overall as challenge setting but 2 more iron consumption.)
+400% event failure penalty
-50% event completion bonus
The penalties pretty much forces the administrator to use all the features that can offer an advantage, which makes the game a lot more interesting!
