Emotional Repo
I've been through just about every situation a person can go through. I've been up I've been down. I've succeeded and I've failed. I have made mistakes that could have cost me my life and mistakes that did cost me my freedom. It's been time that I've been so low I questioned my very own existence. People ask me all the time how did I overcome certain obstacles, find my way back and the will to keep going, and the only answer I can give is God. Nights when I was alone in that dark cell the only person I could talk to was God. Days when I wanted to give up the only person I had to call on was God. Times when I couldn't see the light something deep inside of me wouldn't allow me to give up no matter how hard I tried. A voice always spoke to me letting know that my purpose was bigger than my understanding at the moment, this world need you to keep going so don't stop, don't let your past define your future, don't let your present situation stop you from dreaming. This walk won't be easy but it will be worth it. that's when I resorted back to the teaching of my grandparents and leaned on prayer. And through my new journey I started to look at things differently, move with love, understanding, compassion and that's when my life started to change and I will forever be grateful.
