V-Ray Next for SketchUp introduces a number of UI enhancements for an easier and more intuitive user experience:
- Materials, Textures, Lights and more are now displayed in a unified list, allowing you to establish easy connections. You can view and modify child textures used in a material.
- With texture instancing, you can use one texture in multiple places. Changing its properties will update its instances everywhere.
- The Material library can now load and manage custom library source folders in the native UI. Studios and agencies can even share a single library folder located on a network drive, allowing many artists to access and contribute to shared library content.
- Saving assets from different type to the library is another new feature. Drag and drop a light or a V-Ray Fur asset to save and reuse it in another project.
