How to Create a 3D Letters Effect Using Frames in Canva
In this video, I'll show you how to create a 3D text effect using letter frames in Canva.
Step 1:
Upload and add your background image to the page. Resize it to fit your canvas.
Step 2:
Go to 'Elements', click 'Frames', and find a frame in the shape of your desired letter. Place it over your background image.
Step 3:
Duplicate your background image. Drag and drop the copy inside the letter frame.
Step 4:
Double-click the image inside the frame to adjust its position, then align the framed image over the main background.
Step 5:
Duplicate the letter frame itself.
Step 6:
Select the duplicate frame, click 'Edit image', then 'Adjust', and reduce its brightness to create a shadow tone.
Step 7:
Add a white outline or border to this darker duplicate frame from the editor toolbar.
Step 8:
Open the 'Layers' panel. Position the darker, outlined frame slightly behind the original brighter frame to create a depth effect.
Step 9:
Finally, select the main background image, use the 'BG Remover' tool to delete the background, making the 3D letter stand out.
