What surprised me at the Las Vegas airport?
I've been to various airports in America, but I saw something like this for the first time
And it's not even the gambling machines right by the plane's exit
I thought that, after the 9/11 tragedy in New York, it became normal in all American airports to take off your shoes for security checks
But in Las Vegas, nobody takes off their shoes.
Instead, the cutest dog sniffs each passenger. I have to admit, I stood in line, saw how this dog was making endless rounds, and thought that I'd better take off my shoes. (I never understood why the dog had to walk back and forth like that, and why they couldn't just have the dog stand there while everyone walks by slowly.)
