Upgrading To AMD Ryzen Without Reinstalling Windows?
An tutorial on how to upgrade from a previous generation chipset (AM3+)to the new RYZEN AM4 chipset and CPU. Some steps need to be taken before change of any hardware, such as uninstalling some drivers, as well as having Ryzen chipset drivers and others already downloaded. For the Updates issue in Windows 7 afterwards, please look up zeffy/wufuc on the net and download the tool.
Not really recommended to jump from one chipset to another without OS re-installation, but thought this was be a good experiment and was previously successful.
