This run kind of came out of nowhere at the start of an attempt session, although I have been putting in plenty of speedrun attempts over the past few weeks, and it finally resulted in this, but I am not happy with this New Super Mario Bros. Wii World Record yet because of the three second timeloss in 8-C's escape section.
I genuinely did not think I got WR at the end, which is why I didn't react.
