The Biggest Plane Crash in Türkiye Subtitled
The Turkish Airlines Boeing 727 2F2 crashed and exploded in Karatepe around 11:00 PM on September 19, 1976, and is known as one of the worst aircraft accidents to occur within Turkey. A total of 155 people, including 22 Turkish citizens (8 of whom were personnel) and 133 foreign nationals, lost their lives in this accident.
