JavaScript var and Variable Hoisting | Common Mistake
Variable hoisting is a nuisance in JavaScript. It comes with a different set of headaches with let and const, but for var it makes it so the variable has a value of undefined for the entire length of it scope prior to being declared. This is also one of those mistakes that's hard to know what's going on if you don't have awareness of the issue, so watch this video so you'll be aware.
