That Dude Rambles: 2008 Yamaha R6 Rear Shock Replacement
My first DIY video as I walk through the process to replace the rear shock on my 2008 Yamaha R6. I also explain some things that have been changed on the bike, as it’s been turned into a dedicated track-bike, along the way.
I sourced a used factory shock and had MC Technologies replace the innards with a Race Tech Rebound separator and Gold Valve Kit. I'd prefer an Ohlins but have a budget to work within!
