In this final section of the course we walk through a complete real project that uses the structured approach covered throughout the previous lessons. This example is not exclusive to the course, so when you download it you may see additional logic that sits outside the scope of what we have been learning. However, the structured framework inside it is entirely relevant and serves as a clear, practical demonstration of how everything fits together.
We begin by taking a tour of the top level process layout, simply to give you a sense of what this project is controlling. The focus of the lessons will not be on the process itself but on how the structured data is used behind the scenes. You will see how input mapping, process structures, simulation structures, function blocks, and output mapping all connect to form a clean, scalable architecture.
This section ties the entire course together. It shows how structured data moves through a real system, how the components interact, and how the patterns you have learned can be applied in your own projects to build clear, maintainable and highly adaptable PLC applications.
