這是一次相當難得的機會，透過直播鏡頭，帶大家近距離認識臺灣中低海拔森林中極具代表性的猛禽，並一同見證大冠鷲珍貴的繁殖育雛過程。
大冠鷲是森林中的頂級掠食者，牠們的存在，不僅反映蛇類、蜥蜴及小型哺乳動物等獵物資源是否穩定，也代表整體棲地環境是否健康。當大冠鷲能穩定繁殖，往往意味著這片森林仍保有良好的生態功能。
從築巢、孵蛋、育雛，到親鳥分工與獵物選擇，大冠鷲繁殖期間的行為一直相當神秘，過去極少有機會能夠長時間、近距離觀察。
邀請大家一起透過鏡頭走進森林樹梢，陪著大冠鷲一家，見證成長的珍貴時刻。
Welcome to the Crested Serpent Eagle Nest Cam Live.
This is a rare opportunity to get an up-close look at one of Taiwan’s most iconic raptors of the low- to mid-elevation forests, and to witness the precious breeding and parenting journey of the Crested Serpent Eagle.
As a top predator of the forest, the Crested Serpent Eagle plays an important role in the ecosystem. Its presence reflects not only the stability of prey populations such as snakes, lizards, and small mammals, but also the overall health of the forest habitat. When Crested Serpent Eagles can breed successfully, it often indicates that the forest ecosystem remains healthy and functional.
From nest building, incubation, and chick rearing, to parental cooperation and prey selection, many aspects of their breeding behavior remain mysterious, and opportunities for long-term, close-range observation have been extremely rare.
Through this live camera, we invite you to join us in the forest canopy and witness every precious moment in the growth of this eagle family.

集資贊助｜「愛從0開始—台灣黑鳶繁殖觀測計畫」，今年黑鳶沒播，主要原本預定要播的黑鳶巢都不太順利繁殖而失敗了，因此今年目前改播大冠鷲。
本次大冠鷲直播架設位在屏東北部郊區的巢位，巢在黑板樹上約9公尺高。由屏科大鳥類生態研究室進行野外觀察，昕昌生態科研企劃直播推廣，巨大又容易觀察的大冠鷲同時也是台灣猛禽研究會的會鳥，大冠鷲繫放預計等到寶寶相對比較大的時候，將會由台灣猛禽研究會的夥伴協助進行繫放。

★大冠鷲小檔案 Facts about Crested Serpent Eagle
大冠鷲，因為常常捕食蛇類，所以又稱蛇鵰，主要食性包括蛇類、蜥蜴、蝸牛與小型哺乳動物等，常常在山林裡可以聽到大冠鷲邊飛邊叫，忽忽忽~忽悠~忽悠~，是臺灣中低海拔很常見的猛禽之一，最鮮明的特徵是頭上的冠羽及眼周旁銳利又帶點霸氣的黃色裸皮。雖然常常可以見到大冠鷲邊飛邊叫，也可以在高速公路旁路燈上見到牠的蹤影，但牠其實低調地也會出現在森林底層尋覓食物。牠不只是森林中的頂級掠食者，也是生態環境健康的重要指標。
Crested Serpent Eagle, also known as the serpent eagle for its habit of preying on snakes, feeds mainly on snakes, lizards, snails, and small mammals. In Taiwan’s forests, it is often heard calling while soaring through the sky— "hoo... hoo-hoo... hoo-yoo... hoo-yoo..." It is one of the most commonly seen birds of prey in Taiwan’s low- to mid-elevation mountain forests. Its most distinctive features are the prominent crest on its head, along with the sharp, intense yellow bare skin around its eyes, giving it a powerful and commanding look. Although it is often seen soaring overhead or perched on roadside lights along highways, the Crested Serpent Eagle also quietly spends time foraging near the forest floor. More than just a top predator of the forest, it is also an important indicator of a healthy ecosystem.
